As school nurse at Adams Elementary, I look forward to giving care to our students.  My background in the Nursing of Children consists of the following: 

·         worked for 16 years at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital on the Adolescent Medical/Surgical unit. 

·         served as charge nurse, preceptor, and staff nurse  and

·         graduated with my masters degree in nursing in 1997 from St. Louis University

I would like to assist our parents who have children that qualify for state health coverage.  We must make sure that they will receive it.  Please contact me if you need assistance in applying for MoHealthNet (formerly MC+).  The application can be completed on line.  If you are new to the area, I can also give you information on neighborhood health care resources.  Remember, when your child starts the day feeling ill at home, taking off a day to recover is better than struggling to stay at school, becoming sicker and possibly needing numerous days to get better.  Thank you for choosing Adams Elementary as the school for your child(ren).  Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our children.
