Dear Yeatman-Liddell Community,
Greetings! I am James Harris, your principal at Yeatman-Liddell Middle School. I am humbled by the opportunity to lead Yeatman-Liddell and excited to meet the students, parents, staff, faculty and community members throughout the 2012 - 2013 school year.
I know that change can provoke both excitement and anxiety. It is my goal to spend my first several months learning about our school and the community. I look forward to learning about the YLMS community and listening to your hopes and dreams for our school. What is important to you about Yeatman-Liddell? What do you want your child (children) to learn this year in school? What are we proud of? What do we want to work on?
I plan to begin by finding the answer to those questions and putting them into action. I believe that building genuine relationships between, parents, students and teachers gives everyone ownership and a voice in shaping our school culture. Supporting our kids to do well at school, and in their lives, is the center of our work. I am honored to serve this school community and will work hard to earn your trust and respect as Yeatman-Liddell's principal.
